Delete an XVH account

You can delete an XVH (Xplore Venture Hub) account at any time, in the XVH app or on xvh.io.

Parents and teachers

1. Log in to XVH.
2. Open My account (your name at the top of the page).
3. Press Delete my account at the bottom, type your password and DELETE, and confirm.

Your name, email address, password and settings are deleted straight away. A parent's children who are not in a school class are deleted too, with their results, pictures and recordings. Teachers' classes stay with their school.

Pupils

A pupil's account can be deleted by their teacher (open the pupil, then Delete this pupil), which removes their results, writing, pictures and recordings straight away. A parent can also ask us to delete it.

Can't log in?

Email support@xvh.io from the email address on the account (for a pupil, give their name, school and class). We check that the request is genuine and delete the account within 30 days.

What is kept

Nothing that identifies you. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed as the backups expire, within about three months. Results that have been added together without names (for example, how many pupils finished an activity) are kept. See our privacy notice.
