PEP-style performance tasks

Real-life problems in several parts, where pupils show their working and you mark each part.

Performance tasks practise the written, "show your thinking" side of PEP. Each one has a real-life scenario (sometimes with a table) and several parts. Pupils answer in their own words, show their working, and send it to you.

Find them in the Library for Maths, Science and Language Arts (Grades 4 to 6).

Marking

Tasks arrive in โœ๏ธ Writing to mark beside writing. For each part you see the pupil's answer and working next to a marking guide (the answer and what each mark is for). Tap the marks for each part, add a comment and press Save marks. The next piece opens straight away.

The total counts in the pupil's results, mark book and report card.

Make your own

In Create, choose Performance task. Write the scenario, add a table if you need one (columns separated by |), then add each part with its marks and your marking guide.

Pupils' answers are saved on their device as they type, so they can finish later.
