The placement check ("Find my level")
16 quick questions that find the grade a pupil is working at in Maths and Language Arts.
The placement check asks 16 questions: 8 in Maths and 8 in Language Arts. A right answer makes the next question harder; a wrong one makes it easier. Pupils don't see right or wrong while they do it, so it isn't stressful.
At the end the pupil sees their level, for example "Maths: Grade 4 · Language Arts: Grade 3". My Practice then starts their questions at that level.
For teachers
- Every pupil is asked once (a card appears on their home page).
- See the results on your class's Progress tab, compared with the class grade.
- Press Ask the class to take it (or Ask again for one pupil) at the start of a term.
Tip for pupils: it's fine not to know some answers. Just do your best!
