The Prize Shop: real school supplies for coins

Pupils save coins for real pencils, crayons, books and more, delivered free to their school. Teachers check each order first.

The 🎁 Prize Shop (from My rewards or the XVH world) has real school supplies that pupils buy with the coins they earn by learning. Prizes are delivered to the pupil's school free of charge, and the teacher gives them out.

The prizes

A sticker sheet, a pencil set, an exercise book, crayons, coloured pencils, a geometry set, a pencil case, a storybook and a children's dictionary. They cost a lot of coins on purpose: a pupil who learns a little most days earns about 200 to 300 coins a week, so the sticker sheet takes about 3 weeks and the dictionary most of a school year. Each prize shows how many more coins you need.

The rules

One prize a month for each pupil.
The pupil must be in a class at a school (that's where it is delivered), and their account must be at least 14 days old.
Some prizes open at a higher level.
The coins are taken when you order. If the order is declined or cancelled, all the coins come back.

What happens to an order

⏳ Waiting: the pupil's teacher checks it.
📦 Approved: the XVH team packs it.
🚚 Sent: it is on its way to the school.
🎉 Handed out: the teacher gave it to the pupil.

For teachers

Open your class, choose the Motivation tab, and press Open next to Prize orders. For each new order you can see how many activities the pupil finished and how many coins came from learning in the last 60 days. Press ✅ Approve if the coins were earned fairly, or ↩️ Decline with a short note (the coins go back). When prizes arrive at school, give them out and press 🎉 Handed out.

To keep prizes fair, each teacher or parent can give a pupil at most 20 shout-out coins a day.

For parents

When your child orders a prize, you get an email telling you what they chose. If phone notifications are turned on (in My account), you also get one at each step: approved, sent to the school, handed out, or declined with the coins given back. Your child's page under My family shows their 🎁 Prize Shop orders and where each one is. Prizes never cost you anything.

For the XVH team

Admin → Prizes lists approved orders grouped by school, with a total of each item to pack and a print button. Press 🚚 Mark all sent when a school's box goes out. You can change prices, levels and stock (an item at 0 shows as sold out), add new prizes, and cancel an order (the coins go back).
